Certifications

Red Cross

CPR / AED for Professional Rescuers with Administering Emergency Oxygen and First Aid

I earned my first Red Cross certifications when I was 16 and have not let them expire since. These certifications not only prepared me for a lifeguarding job but also prepared me for real life scenarios. Passing the test not only gave me the confidence to use these skills, but also gave me the confidence to progress my knowledge and learn more. If I was able to achieve this certification who knows what other certifications are within my reach.

StateFoodSafety

Food Safety for Home Kitchen

The food safety for home kitchen's certification taught me basic safety skills with a heavy focus on preventing cross contamination. This certification not only prepared me to create safer, healthier meals but also gave me the confidence to apply these practices in everyday life. Passing the test reinforced my ability to make informed decisions in the kitchen and inspired me to continue expanding my knowledge.

NASM

Corrective Exercise Specialization

Corrective Exercise was the first "major" or "field" specific certification I earned. While studying for this certification I learned how to truly help people. Corrective Exercise is about prevention of injury or pain. With this certification I have the ability to address how people move and teach them how to move better and pain free.
